The assessment of compatibility of wastewater treated by natural lagoon with discharge and irrigation standards. Case study

In order to protect the environment and groundwater against pollution, we dealt with one of problems in world, regarding treatment wastewater possibility reuse irrigation. We studied case Kef Eddouken natural lagoon plant Ghardaia (southern Algeria). For this reason physico-chemical, bacteriological parsitological parameter waste treated water. The results analysis show that all previous parameters comply Algerian standard rejection except electrical conductivity, suspended matter BOD5. On other hand, despite conductivity exceeds limit, but it corresponds SAR value; according international irrigation, quality water can be used sub-irrigation for vegetable which eaten only cooked.
